Hand Made Soor Plooms - You can tell from the vibrant colour (apparently, that's down to the temperature during the boiling) and imperfection (in a good way!) of these little beauties that they're hand made by an artesan. And let me tell you - they are absolutely delicious! The Chief Taster at A Quarter Of thinks these are stunning - the best they've ever tasted. They're supremely fruity with a lovely little blast of sourness and tartness.

Bought as a Christmas present for a friend who likes sour sweets. Being Scottish I was delighted to see one of my childhood favourites and couldn't resist sampling them before giving them away. Tasted just as I remembered. I'm sure she'll be as pleased as I was....that's if I can bear to part with them.
